I really like discovery sets as without too much of a commitment you can try many different perfumes and then decide which ones you like (or don’t like). Without a perfume set, you may end up paying for one large sized perfume, only to discover that you don’t really like it that much. Plus, since I love lots of different things at Target it was a no-brainer to check out this fun perfume set.
No such issues with Mixbar Perfume Scent Discovery Set. With this set you can try different perfumes and then decide whether you like them or not. And if you do like them, then you can purchase bigger sized perfumes with that scent.
What is included in the Mixbar Perfume Scent Discovery Set?
There are five different perfume vials included in the Mixbar Perfume Scent Discovery Set. Here are the perfumes that were included:
– Mixbar Tangerine Squeeze Perfume, this was an amazing, clean citrus smell. I loved the obvious citrus note of tangerines and clementines. Then there was a very bright fresh smell that went really well with citrus.
– Mixbar Glass Rose Perfume, was inspired by the petal pattern of a rose in bloom. This perfume has notes of Raspberry, Bergamot, Rose, Peony, Amber. There was definitely a big rose note when I smelled it, as well as something else. And I believe glass rose it a good name to describe this perfume. Another smell that I really enjoyed.
– Mixbar Coconut Palm Perfume, was inspired by the addictive quality of coconut wood. This perfume contains notes of: Coconut Wood, Vanilla, Salty Accord, Incense, Amber, Musk Milk. There were notes of coconut, wood, vanilla and some musk.
– Mixbar Cloud Musk Perfume, was inspired by delightful feeling of cashmere on skin. This perfume contains notes of: Cardamom, Iris, Jasmine, Cotton Peony, Tonka Beans. This was another favorite in the bunch, I loved the notes of cardamom, peony and tonka beans. This was such a nice warm perfume, perfect for fall and winter.
– Mixbar Vanilla Bourbon Perfume, was inspired by the richness of pure vanilla beans. This perfume contains notes of: Bergamot, Jasmine, Apple Blossom, Madagascar Vanilla Bean, Sandalwood. Have to be honest, this is the perfume that I was most looking forward to try. Vanilla and bergamot are two of my favorite notes in any perfume, so I was interested in seeing how Mixbar approached combining these two together in the perfume.
I really enjoyed the Mixbar Vanilla Bourbon Perfume, and the combination of all the notes.
All in all, I was impressed by all of the Mixbar perfumes in the Mixbar Perfume Scent Discovery Set, there wasn’t one in a bunch that I didn’t like. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by all of the scents. The scents were complex, I enjoyed the combinations and they reminded me of more expensive scents.
My two favorite ones were Mixbar Vanilla Bourbon Perfume and Mixbar Cloud Musk Perfume, but I recommend all of the perfumes in the set, based on what your favorite scent profiles are.
