A few days ago I wrote about Play! by Sephora: Luxe Box Volume 1 offering. It included the following items: Giorgio Armani makeup product, Guerlain makeup product, Yves Saint Laurent makeup product, La Mer skincare product, SK-II Skincare product, Atelier Cologne fragrance, Special-edition beauty bag, Collectible set of cards.

The price of the Play! by Sephora: Luxe Box Volume 1 was $25. As of this writing, the box is not available for purchase anymore, but there might be more boxes in the future, given the Volume 1 in the name of this box.

In this post, I am sharing the pictures, review and calculation of the actual price of the products that were included in the Play! by Sephora Luxe Box Volume 1.

The items came in a really nice, luxe bag, take a look at the picture of the bag:

In addition to the bag, the Play! by Sephora Luxe Box Volume 1 box also included these cards. Each card contained information about one product. There was also a card included, that gives 50 bonus points with any full size in store purchase.

Here is what was included in the Play! by Sephora Luxe Box Volume 1. First, here is the makeup:

– Guerlain L’Or Radiance Primer, 0.16 Fl Oz. Based on the fact that 1 oz retails for $74, the value of this item is $11.84.

– Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain, and I am not sure of the size, probably 1.8 ml. Based on the fact that 6 ml retails for $36, the value of this item is $10.80.

Here is a swatch of the Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain, it is a beautiful red color:

– Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara, 2 ml. Based on the fact that 10 ml retails for $32, the value of this item is $6.40.

Here are the skin care items that were in the box:

– La Mer The Eye Concentrate, 0.1 oz. Based on the fact that 0.5 oz retails for $215, the value of this item is $43.

– SK-II R.N.A. Power Anti-Aging Eye Cream, 0.08 oz. Based on the fact that 0.4 oz retails for $135, the value of this item is $27.

And here is the perfume that was included in the Play! by Sephora Luxe Box Volume 1 box:

– Atelier Cologne Iris Rebelle Cologne Absolue, 4 ml. Based on the fact that 10 ml retails for $26, the value of this item is $10.40.

What is the overall value of the Play! by Sephora Luxe Box Volume 1 Box? Here is the calculation: $11.84 + $10.80 + $6.40 + $43 + $27 + $10.40 = $109.44. This means that when you purchased this Luxe Box, you got $109.44 worth of products for $25. I am pretty impressed with the high value skin care items in this Luxe Box!
