As the year comes to a close, I wanted to go through and report on my favorite products of the year. There were quite a few products I wanted to share with you, so in order to do that, I divided them into two lists.

One of the lists is this list — my top beauty of 2014, the drugstore products. I am going to do another post on my favorite prestige brands products as well. For my other favorite beauty products of 2014, see Top Beauty Products Of 2014.

I like to try both drugstore and high end brands, so here are some of my favorite drugstore beauty products from 2014. All of these work fabulous, and take a look at their price tags!

Revlon Lip Butter In Cotton Candy, $7.49

Seriously, if you haven’t tried this lip butter yet, you are missing out! I rarely finish my lip products, and if I do, it takes a long time.

And just this year, I already finished one Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy, and I am halfway through my second one.

I love this particular color — it is light pink with a bit of shimmer. It is moisturizing, and it adds some color to my lips. It does not last that long, but that is something that I expected, so I don’t mind.

This is my #1 product of 2014, I love it, and I already re-bought it, and I am half way done with the second one. I will be buying it again in 2015, and will be trying more colors as well.

Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Sticks, $8.99

I have to tell you this — I like many different Neutrogena products. This is probably my most used drugstore brand, and I have used tons of their products, that I really like.

So I was pretty excited to try their MoistureSmooth Color Sticks, and I wasn’t disappointed. They are very moisturizing, and feel great on the lips. I like everything about this lip crayon, easy to apply, great color and very moisturizing. I wish they came in more colors, I would get more of them!

My favorite one is Sweet Watermelon, it is a peach and pink combination, and I reach out for it all the time. Another one I like is Rich Raisin, a perfect raisin color. Sometimes I use Sweet Watermelon and Rich Raisin together, the color combination is great.

Real Techniques by Sam & Nic Chapman Blush Brush, $8.99

I have been hearing about these brushes for a long time, and I finally tried one.

I decided to try the blush brush, and this one was fabulous! It was a bigger brush than I expected, and it is a joy to use it to blend and apply blush. It takes a few seconds to apply blush using this brush, and the blush is applied fabulously, exactly where I need to apply it.

I strongly recommend this product, and at this price it cannot be beat! I am looking forward to trying more Real Techniques brushes in the new year.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleansing Pads, $7.49 for 28 Pads

I really like these cleansing pads. Each pad has two different surfaces. One is smooth, to wash off dirt and makeup. These are great at helping you wash off makeup!

The other surface is textured, it helps you do a bit of exfoliation.

I find these cleansing pads gentle, and not abrasive at all.

Earth Therapeutics Nail & Cuticle Care, $9.60

Here is another product I really like. I use it to moisturize nails and cuticles. This creme absorbs well, smells good, and helps avoid dry cuticles in the winter months.

Works well on the toes as well!
